Aromatherapy Workshop


Aromatherapy, also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit.  It seeks to unify physiological, psychological and spiritual processes to enhance an individual’s innate healing process.

This is a work shop for those who have done ‘An Introduction to Aromatherapy’ with Helen. This follow-on course will be looking at an additional set of Essential Oils, extending the Aromatherapy massage routine, learning how to blend oils based on the Chinese philosophy of the 5 elements and making a roller ball and massage oil to use at home.

An Introduction to Aromatherapy

This introduction to aromatherapy will teach you how to use Essential Oils for health and wellbeing. You will learn how and why Essential Oils work, how we can use them to create products and remedies for common ailments. You will learn a basic aromatherapy head and neck treatment incorporating pressure point and massage techniques to relax the body, and calm the mind. Aromatherapy is an ancient healing art that is just as relevant and useful in our lives today.
